An Inspiring Journey To Self: An Interview with Alice Steuerwald

Published by Liz Koch on August 30, 2013 in Podcasts

Alice’s journey to find health is an inspiring story for everyone. Born into a mixed ethnic military family in the middle of Kansas, Alice grew up just around the corner from a brothel. Raped at age 17 and strung out on heroin her journey to reclaim her body and soul and in so doing create a healthy life has shaped her ability to be a powerful teacher, healer, and an inspirational health advocate for women and men.

Just to say that I am very excited to have found your website, and books. I live in London, and see that you have just visited London in early Oct. So, I missed your visit this time. Maybe you might come over some other time next year or so. I want to learn how to get to know my psoas as well as I can. What speaks to me is that you call it ‘the muscle of the Soul’ That really makes sense to me,as I have just gone through a year of health problem, operations, and having to rest, sleep a lot and lost the strength in the psoas. I am now trying to learn as much as I can on how to rehabilitate it. Thanks for your creative, meaningful work. Warm greetings, Simona

Hi Simona, I return next year and will again teach in London (in July) and possibly York ~ meanwhile join one of my Tele-classes ( next one starts Tuesday November 3rd). You will learn a great deal about how to tend to your core.
