Stalking Wild:The Psoas-Eye Connection with Sam Berne ~ Ojo NM

The Eye-Psoas Connection: A Dynamic Interplay Into Core Awareness

Did you know that not only our Psoas, but our eyes, offer a portal into an evolutionary, dynamic interplay between the energetic/spiritual/ emotional aspects of our fluid body?

Inquiring into this connection helps us
discover the programmed patterns and imprints we may be using as an adaptive response to stress, trauma, and cultural conditioning. These adaptative responses influence perceptual capacities that create a “sensory amnesia” and disconnect us from our core. Join us as we expand the possibilities of our perceptual and visionary field and listen to the body in its own language; fluid movement and sensory awareness. This workshop is designed to reconnect us and strengthen coherency so that we may heal within.

Topics will include:

  • The Eye-Brain-Body Link as it relates to eye
disease, focal-ambient awareness, and cognitive
abilities
  • The Visual-Proprioception Connection as it relates to
gravity, balance, and orientation
  • The techniques of Light and Color therapy to balance the autonomic nervous system
  • The information for integrating Medicinal Essential Oils
to improve eye problems

Sam Berne and I will offer participants a somatic-based program that helps each of us understand that both our Psoas and our eyes carryour history and birthright for healing.

Dr. Sam Berne is a Behavioral Optometrist, an Authorized Continuum Teacher, A Certified Medicinal Aromatherapist, and a Certified Craniosacral Therapist.  He is an internationally known author and researcher, and a faculty member at The Esalen Institute.  He has written four insightful books and produced a DVD on autism.
