Gravity & The Psoas ~ Engaging The Fluid Core ~ Lawrence KS
A Stalking The Wild Psoas Workshop not to be missed! Carol Agneessens joins me as my co-teacher for this four-day seminar open to EVERYBODY but focused on body workers and massage therapist to explore gravity (the ‘ever-present invisible’) and how it dictates core integrity and the healthy Psoas muscle. We begin by shifting from core as structure to the embryological fluid core. By understanding the Psoas as a fluid proprioceptive messenger, we redefine strength from one of density to one of dynamic resiliency. As a means for transforming our (and our clients) long held functional patterns, we will employ self, group, and partner explorations that broaden and deepen the role that perception plays in understanding the interplay between form, movement, and expression.
Carol Ann Agneessens, MS. has been involved in the healing arts for over 40 years. As a Rolfer and Rolf-Movement Instructor and Craniosacral Therapist, she is dedicated to perception and the lived experience of the multi-dimensionality of the body. The Fabric of Wholeness (Quantum Institute Press, 2001) explores gravity and the movement of daily life.
