Bio-Mechanics & The Human Core: An Interview with Katy Bowman

Published by Liz Koch on September 4, 2010 in Podcasts

Liz Koch interviews Bio-mechanical scientist Katy Bowman on questions about the center of gravity, proprioception, ground force reaction, and the potential for regenerating core health. Interfacing the bio-mechanical paradigm with the bio-intelligent perspective, this provocative discussion clarifies that no matter what the point of reference might be, a healthy Psoas is synonymous with a healthy Core.

This is a fascinating interview. Katy explains very sophisticated ideas in a way that are easy to understand. Thank you!

Wonderful interview. One small suggestion is that I believe “Chakra” is a Sanskrit word pronounced “cha” as in chalk, not “sha” shall.

Thanks for airing this important paradigm.

I can’t access your podcasts. I’m in France, but I’ve also tried switching itunes stores and still doesn’t work. Are they normally accessible to an international audience?

Yes they are available to everyone – everywhere, but the podcasts may not be accessible on cellular phones as they cannot be downloaded. You may want to experiment with different browsers. I will be updating my website this year and this too may help you access podcasts easier.
