Connective Tissue & The Juicy Psoas: An Interview with Sue Hitzmann
Published by Liz Koch on January 5, 2013 in PodcastsSue Hitzmann, MS, CST, NMT, is a nationally recognized neuro-fascial manual therapist and teacher whose studies and explorations have culminated in the creation of the M.E.L.T. Method® (MELT). A revolutionary approach to pain-free fitness and longevity, Melt Method is a self help technique for working with the connective tissue. Because the Psoas is deeply embedded in the sympathetic neuro-core, hydrating connective tissue is an important key for resolving Psoas inflammation, pain, and tension.

Thank you for the information on the Melt Method and particularly the perspective of the psosas as not merely a hip flexor, but as a major contributor to balance in the body. Balance as a vibraton reverbarating from the arches of the feet up through the pelvic arch, diaphramic arch, pleural arch, to the top of the head is a description I shall use to improve my balance practice.
