The Heart of Desire: Jami Sieber’s Cello Music

Published by Liz Koch on December 10, 2008 in Podcasts

Jami Sieber’s cello music evokes a vibration for opening the heart of desire and awakening the hardened psoas. Provocative and inspirational, Jami blends voice and haunting melody to both capture the imagination and open universal emotional channels of longing, celebration and harmony. Liz Koch and Jami converse about the origins of her music, her musical collaboration with elephants and what it might reveal about our future direction as human beings. Jami’s music can be purchased online at Amazon.com.

I use music in my dance therapy, to support emotional release in Authentic Movement in particular. It requires music that has a spiritual connection – this is often difficult to find. I am happy to hear Jami’s music – the little I’ve heard (& what you dedscribe) seem to support the belief that she can do this.

I wanted to download some of her (Jami’s)music and am not real techy – I don’t seem to be able to do this because the podcasts I find are interviews. I want just her music. Can you help me?

Cello music resonates with human tissue and evokes a genuine sense of feeling. I find it deeply moving and Jami takes it to a sensitive, sweet level.
